Homeschool + Working Full Time

As a working parent, homeschooling your child may be difficult, but it’s not impossible!

Deciding to homeschool your child is the first step on this journey. Many parents believe in this myth 👉🏾working a full-time job means I won’t be able to homeschool my child. That’s not the truth! There have been many successful parents who homeschool their children with full-time jobs. Here are a few ways to make it work.

1. Hire a nanny/sitter. Hiring a nanny will allow you to work during the day, come home in the evening, and work with your child. As a home school parent, you can work with your child at any time of the day. A homeschooled child does not need 7 1/2 hours a day of school work.

2. Research and find a homeschool cohort that aligns with your morals and values. This allows you to partner with the homeschool cohort l, share the responsibilities of the journey, and still homeschool your child.

3. Connect with other families homeschooling their children and forming a pod.

Bonus: hire a teacher to come in and work with your child during the day.
