Three Ways to Balance Homeschool and Extracurricular Activities

If your family is anything like mine, there is not enough time in the day due to academics and extracurricular activities.

This is my oldest daughter. Homeschooling her meant we had to be creative and find a successful program. She’s currently a student at @connectionsacademy because it works for us. She dances Monday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and then homeschools in the evening.

Sometimes, flexibility, choosing the right curriculum, and implementing academics into their activities helps so much.

You can do this. Creating a holistic approach to homeschooling instead of acting as if everything is a separate entity can provide a well-rounded education for your child. They don't have to give up what they love so they can learn. They can do both. Learning takes place anywhere.
